(Richmond, VA) Full-Time Case Worker Position Available with PICF! I'm seeking a dynamic, innovative, responsible, and caring individual for an IL Case Worker position! Excellent Writing Skills are a MUST! EMAIL: cece@thepicf.com The IL Case Worker is responsible for overseeing the youth on his/her case load; service planning by developing individualized service plans, counseling Youth Participants and families in preparation for placement or discharge (up to 6 youth on case load); supervising Youth Participants in the Independent Living arrangements; preparing and maintaining case records; coordinating services to minimize fragmentation of care, reduce barriers, and link Youth Participants with appropriate services to ensure comprehensive, continuous access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services appropriate to the needs of the Youth Participant. Baccalaureate degree in social work or related field including, but not limited to, sociology, psychology, or counseling and one year of experience in providing casework services to children and families; strong clinical skills, including techniques for counseling, problem-solving, resource development, and de-escalation.
